Val Anthony Ronald Lawrence, better known by his stage name Amen-Ra, is an American filmmaker, and former record producer and rapper from New York City, New York. On his work, he is credited as Ron "Amen-Ra" Lawrence.

Lawrence began as a member of the duo Two Kings in a Cipher with D.O.P. The two released their only album, From Pyramids to Projects, in 1991. Lawrence and D.O.P., now known as Deric "D-Dot" Angelettie, emerged in the mid-1990s as producers and became associated with Bad Boy Entertainment, and Lawrence produced for artists such as The Notorious B.I.G., Sean Combs, Ma$e and Faith Evans. He additionally produced hit singles for non-Bad Boy artists, such as Jay-Z, LL Cool J, Boyz II Men and MC Lyte. "Wonderful", a song he produced for Aretha Franklin, won Best Vocal Performance at the 2004 Grammy Awards.

Lawrence ceased his production work in the early 2000s. He has become a filmmaker after studying at the New York Film Academy, and has released several short films since founding his production company Spotlyte Media. Lawrence currently lives in West Palm Beach, Florida with his wife and their three children.
